About the role

We’re looking for a developer who can take a feature from a clear brief to a production release. You’ll work closely with our design and strategy teams, make practical technical decisions, and help us deliver accessible, maintainable products for our clients.

What you’ll do

• Build responsive, accessible interfaces with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and database integrations with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Implement authentication, permissions, input validation, and secure handling of customer data.
• Write meaningful tests, review pull requests, and investigate bugs and performance issues.
• Break features into manageable tasks and communicate progress clearly with a remote team.

Requirements

• Around 3–5 years of professional full-stack development, or equivalent experience shipping production products.
• Confident use of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, including server-side rendering and API development.
• Practical backend experience with Node.js, relational databases, SQL, and data modelling.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and deploying applications.
• Understanding of web security, accessibility, responsive design, and performance fundamentals.
• Ability to own a feature independently, ask useful questions, and collaborate in English.
• A CV and examples of work you can discuss, such as a GitHub profile or shipped product.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Vercel, or other cloud deployment platforms.
• Familiarity with Convex, background jobs, payments, or third-party integrations.
• An interest in product design and making technical decisions around real user needs.
