About the role

We’re looking for an AI developer who enjoys taking an idea beyond a demo. You’ll build AI-powered features and automations, connect models to real business workflows, and measure whether the results are useful, safe, and reliable.

What you’ll do

• Build AI-powered product features and workflow automations using model APIs.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, document processing, embeddings, and vector search.
• Connect agents and tools to APIs and business systems with clear permissions and safeguards.
• Design evaluations, track quality, and improve latency, reliability, and usage costs.
• Collaborate with our web team to deliver usable interfaces and production-ready integrations.

Requirements

• Strong Python or TypeScript skills and practical experience building and deploying APIs.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into applications beyond basic prompt experimentation.
• Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, structured outputs, and tool calling.
• Experience evaluating model outputs, handling failures, and monitoring application behaviour.
• Awareness of prompt injection, data privacy, secrets management, and permission boundaries.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs and collaborate independently with a remote team in English.
• A CV and an AI project, repository, or case study that demonstrates your contribution.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks, orchestration, or durable background workflows.
• Familiarity with React or Next.js for delivering complete product experiences.
• Experience with OCR, multimodal models, speech, or multilingual applications.
